writer, educator, crafter, and collector. Kids have been her
business for over over fifty years: baby sitting, teaching, and
story telling. Mary's first book HOW DO I KNOW GOD LOVES ME?

and how she finds the answer. Her second book, BARNEY BIG EARS
LEARNS A LESSON ABOUT FRIENDSHIP, is about the value of
friendship and what it means to be a friend.
Mary is the author of numerous poems, personal essays, newspaper
and magazine articles, as well as children's stories. Her poetry, featured in magazines, newspapers, and anthologies, has also appeared on a line of greeting cards.
Her photographs have been published in magazines, on post cards, and on a Thrivent calendar.
Mary's writing also focuses on her spare time activities of crafting and collecting which include: quilting, designing and making aprons, creating glass sculptures, finding and restoring furniture, and collecting antiques.
She is available to do readings to children in libraries and classrooms,
and will speak to groups on topics related to her writing and crafts.
